The Story

Step into a pair of these 5-Pocket Stretch Twill Pants and you'll wonder why you'd ever wear anything else. We took our favorite 5-pocket jean design, the softest cotton twill we could find (blended with just enough stretch to make all your movements free and easy), and garment-dyed the pants for a broken-in look and feel. The result is absolutely the most comfortable pair of pants we've offered in ages. A pair you can wear to work or take to the road in. Traditional quarter-front pockets, coin pocket, and rear patch pockets.

Cotton/spandex. Washable. Imported.

Even waist sizes 32-42. Inseam 30", 32", 34".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best pants going There are the only pants I wear now - can be dressed up or down, and are ruggedness enough to for good outdoor wear. S just enough stretch and thick enough fabric. Love them!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lose the Lycra Liked your American made 1856 fabric. Bought 2 pair recently, both from Colombia: the first was 1% lycra and had a looser weave than the latest version which has 2% and a weave so tight it really can't be called a twill. The result is a stiff fabric that is too tight to breath properly; you could wear them for ski pants. Please bring back a pure cotton version.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor material Bought pants for general wear. 36 waist ok, 32 inseam longer than normal, after first wash came out of dryer very wrinkled and was very difficult to iron out wrinkles. For the price Orvis charges, one would think the quality would be better and American made!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Pants, Terrible Fabric These were my favorite jeans, great fit and style. But the new "stretch" fabric is awful. Very stiff, never conforms to your body, and makes scraping sounds as you walk. It supposed to fit more comfortably than regular twill, but in fact it is the exact opposite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very comfortable! I get what the first reviewer means by "stiff" but I like that a little of that in my clothing. These are the best pant I've purchased from Orvis since I discovered the brand years ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and durable These are my go-to 3 season pants. More comfortable than jeans yet strong enough for yard work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too long Ordered a 32 inseam, pants were marked as 32 inseam. I've purchased lots of other Orvis pants with 32 inseam with no problems. These were way too long - having 1 1/2" hemmed out. So, add two weeks and $20 and I still haven't worn them yet. Hope they are of similar quality as other Orvis products.
