The Story

An interesting scud pattern that uses a bead at mid body to get the fly down a bit quicker and add just a little attraction flash. These are excellent scud patterns for still water, where you want to get the fly down into the water column and strip slowly.

Sizes: 12, 14

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fly Very good quality. Also, very realistic. It should be a winner for Pa stream trout.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great scud Great scud for tailwater and still water fisheries where these little freshwater shrimp thrive. The bead takes it deep in the zone. Get 'em in olive, orange and pink

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scud scraping bottom This little scud goes deep. Like the orange and pink too for muddy tailwater fishing like on the Crooked

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go To Nymph I fish many streams and rivers and when I'm having a bit of trouble getting the nymph bite I feel I should, I always break out this in pink or olive, and 9 out of 10 times I get the fish i'm targeting to take. Great pattern.
