Sample of Typical Itinerary:

We meet at predetermined time, and place making plans to accommodate guest’s expectations for the day. Take care of paperwork and head out for the days adventure. At the river have a brief safety, and casting class then set off to have a relaxing fun filled day on the water.


What is Provided to Customer:

Species You Fish for by Season:

We fish for a large variety of trout. Although you must work hard and get lucky, it is not uncommon to accomplish a "Grand Slam" of rainbow, brown, brook, and cutthroat on a single trip. If you are lucky enough to catch four species, you will get our coveted "Grand Slam". Each season brings different specialties, but most of the species can be targeted all year long. The prized pure-strain West Slope cutthroat is a favorite of many of our guests.


Region/Terrain Where You Fish:

Montana/Bitterroot River, Blackfoot River, Clark Fork River, Madison River, Missouri River, Holding USFS permit to fish on six small streams in the Bitterroot National Forest with Tenkara fishing opportunities.


Typical Weather by Season:

Spring fishing March through May Skwala season. The weather this time of year is unpredictable layered clothing with hat, gloves and waders recommended it can be high 60s one minute, and snowing the next. Summer fishing June - August: The average temps range from high 40s in the mornings to upper 80s in the afternoon. Water temps can be cool in June with the fresh snow melt by mid-July the water temp has warmed enough for wet wading if you desire. Fall fishing weather is quite nice with cooler days. Light rain gear recommended in all seasons.

50’s in the am high 80’s in the afternoon.


How should we dress?

Dress in layers that can be taken off as the day warms up.

$25 for 2 days.
