At the C Lazy U luxury dude ranch in Colorado, you will stay in beautifully-appointed, spacious rooms that guarantee first-class comfort and solitude. Most of our guest rooms feature stone fireplaces with dude ranch western décor and personal touches that will make you feel perfectly at home. This all-inclusive family vacation includes daily housekeeping service, nightly bed turn-down during the high season months, plush robes, coffee, tea and cocoa in your room.
C Lazy U ranch offers 40 guest ranch accommodations, including individual rooms and full private cabins, varying in size and décor, all within walking distance of the Main Lodge. One to three bedroom cabins are available and children’s rooms offer twin beds or bunk beds – perfect for your Colorado family vacation.
C Lazy U guest ranch has remodeled or renovated all of its cabins over the last few years in order to maintain the five-star standards and western elegance guests have grown to expect in a Colorado guest ranch vacation. Ecofriendly Housekeeping: To further preserve our natural spring water supply, we invite our guests to put towels they would like replaced in the bathtub and hang towels that they can reuse on the rack.
Sample Itinerary:
A typical day fishing differs in our half and full day trips. Both trips will depart by 8 am unless otherwise specified by the guide, and you will be taken to the Colorado or Fraser Rivers, or Willow Creek. We will provide all transportation to and from the location and fish for 4 hours. Our half day trips will then return by 12:15 so you are able to catch our famous lunches! Full day trips will eat a streamside lunch then continue fishing until 4:00. Our afternoon half day trips depart at 1:30 and return by 5.
What is Provided:
- All Premium Orvis Rods, Reels, Waders and Boots
- Terminal Tackle such as flies and leaders
- Water, snacks and if full day lunch
- Transportation to and from fishing destination
What to Bring:
- Sunglasses and Hat
- Socks for waders
- Colorado Fishing License
- 4-5 weight rods if bringing your own
