Learn MoreOur retail store is guide-oriented, in the sense that we stock proven products that our guides use. When you step into the store, you will be greeted by friendly staff that breathe, sleep, and eat fly fishing and who are more than willing to give you the latest report as well as share knowledge and swap fishing stories.
On a typical guided fishing trip, expect to meet your guide either on location or at our retail store. Your guide will size and fit waders and boots if they are needed for your trip and then take time prior to fishing to go through basic instruction. We provide all the needed rods, reels, and terminal tackle for the day. On full-day trips, we will take a lunch break from fishing. A typical half-day trip is 4 hours, while a full day is 8 hours. All our trips are catch-and-release, fly-fishing only.
The Toccoa River, just outside of Downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia can be divided in to two sections: upper and lower. The upper Toccoa River begins in the mountains of the scenic Chattahoochee National Forest and eventually flows into Blue Ridge Lake. The Lower Toccoa River, or the “tailwater” section, flows out of the bottom of Blue Ridge Dam and maintains cool water year-round. We offer both float and wade trips, fly fishing for brown and rainbow trout on the Toccoa River and some of its tributaries. We also offer fly-fishing trips for striped bass and spotted bass on the Etowah River, as well as shoal bass trips in middle Georgia.
