Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Equipment and experience This was my first time fly fishing. Captain Jon Clausen with glacier Angler’s was able to teach me to cast exactly where I wanted with the help of the orvis rods. The river was majestic. Transitioning from spin fishing was not easy, but the lightweight orvis rods allowed me to learn quickly and catch a ton of cutthroat trout. I had the best time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glacier Angler won’t disappoint Hi had the great pleasure of fishing the North Fork of the Flathead river in West Glacier, MT with Glacier Angler guide, Russ Murdoch. The day was perfect and Russ put me on a ton of Westslope Cutthroat! Our partner boat was guided by none other than Orvis guide, Hilary Hutchenson from Trout TV! What a fun day! Glacier Anglers is the best guide service and fly shop I’ve ever used and I’ll be back for more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Notch We've been floating with Glacier Anglers for about a decade now; day trips, over nighters, good weather and bad. Never a problem, never an issue. Their guides, equipment, food (and fishing) have always been top notch. Their check in process is one of the smoothest we've encountered

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bucket List Trip, Top-Company, Guides, Experience We did a 4-day float fly fishing trip in the Great Bear Wilderness with Glacier Angler. I thought the pricing was high until I experienced all that their team put into the adventure, including 4 flights by bush pilots to get us, the rafts, all the gear and our guide crew to the starting point. If you're looking for a 'bucket list' trip in the wilderness at a great value, I highly recommend this company. Our on-the-river/camp crew of 5-John, Patrick, Jake, Andrew and Sullivan-were over the top as river guides (skilled and safety conscious, as had to get everything through section of class IV-V rapids), fly fishing guides, cooks, camp managers and ultimately great friends. All the staff at headquarters and behind the scenes were courteous and professional from beginning to end. There were 3 of us, plus a father-son team. We were in the wilderness section of the Middle Fork of the Flathead River, on the 50th anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. During the 4 days, I think we saw 3 other rafts. It's not easy fishing, especially this early in the season, as the river is swift, and the trout wild. But one of my companions is 80, fly fishing for the first time, and the guides gave him the instruction needed. He caught the biggest trout! It was the battle to save this wilderness section of the river from being dammed that led to that important legislation. Words don't do this adventure and the treatment we received justice. I urge you to go and experience it with Glacier Angler. Yes, it really matters who you pick for a trip like this. I'd give this 10 stars if I could! The ultimate adventure high.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok but not great My wife and I took a trip in late Sept on the Middle Fork of the Flathead river. Glacier has the feel of a mass produced large volume guide service. The trip was ok but the guide was not very engaging, he provided instruction on where to cast and changed flys occasionally as we floated the river but not much else. Little insight on the river, the fish, the flys being used or general learning. Guide wasn’t unfriendley, just not very engaging. An adequate but not a great trip.
