Great line for a great price
I had this installed from Orvis with the purchase of my new Hydros 3 reel. This line is great, I usually have used Rio Technical Trout but this line feels fantastic, smooth line shoots, easy to work with, very responsive in my opinion (only 1 year into fly fishing) the color actually looks great on my mat green Hydros, no complaints about this line, stays nice and straight, easy casting. I prefer this over the Clearwater line that comes with the clearwater reels and rods that I have. Definitely going to keep this one in mind when replacing the line on my other reels.

Superb quality and value
Tried this to replace my existing floating line which had served me well for 4 seasons. It’s proved to be a great improvement, really free running and supple. Great value and performance.

What didn't I buy this earlier!
I finally decided to replace my floating line after using it for years, and then leaving it in the locker for longer. I thought it cast OK, but thought I should treat myself.
What a difference! So easy to cast, shot line with an audible hiss, straightened immaculately, and floated high. That says it all.

Excellent Product
I needed a new fly line and the Hydros Trout was perfect. Really like the dual color line but the best part is how smooth it casts. Over the years I don’t know how rough my old fly line had gradually gotten. The Hydros Trout line made all types of casting easier.

Awesome line, great value
I just upgraded my Encounter outfit with the Hydros Trout line and it makes a huge difference. The line is more supple for better dead drifts, floats better, casts better and basically does everything much better. Another top notch product from Orvis.
