Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excuse to carry it all! I love this pack. It has so many pockets and there are plenty of spots to clip things on. Also the built in net holder is a must when on longer walks as your net doesn’t sway behind you. It is more waterproof than I though it would be as I took an accidental dip and my spare clothes stayed dry through all my flailing and waders filling up. Worth every single penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Prettay, prettaaay, prettaaaaaay, pretty good. So many features that make this backpack the only piece of gear you need. Plenty of useful upgrades from previous generation Orvis backpacks. Performance wise, it balances nicely using the waist strap, or only the shoulder straps, so long as you don’t load excessive weight in the upper portion. The divider is key here. Helps keep fly boxes, reels, camera gear, etc all neat and organized, while letting you better manage the packed weight. Wish it was waterproof, but I guess that’s the trade off. Instead, you get a lightweight product with everything the waterproof backpack lacks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thought of almost everything Overall the Bugout backpack was very well thought out, the pockets are well placed and easily acceptable. My only negative comment is the waist strap is a 1 inch strap, I believe at least a 2 inch strap would help carry the weight.
