Sylacauga, Alabama Fly-Fishing School

The Alabama Orvis Fly-Fishing School is located at the new Orvis Shooting Grounds at Pursell Farms in Sylacauga, Alabama, situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain Range. Pursell Farms is centrally located between many of the major Alabama cites and two hours from Atlanta, Georgia. This school will primarily focus on warmwater species such as bass and sunfish, but the casting you learn in the school can be utilized in any other fly-fishing scenario. Make sure to bring the family along when you visit. In addition to the beautiful lakes and ponds on the property, you and your family can take advantage of the new sporting clays course or play golf at Alabama's #1 ranked public-access golf course. The grounds have something for everyone.
