Very Lightweight
Not a bad vest. Extremely lightweight. With heavy use, not sure how long it will last. I use it for close, short preserve hunts.

Comfortable and Practical
Decently easy to adjust from the beginning. Some users complain that velcro used to retain side ammo pouches is difficult to adjust but I did not have any notable issues. The velcro keeps the ammo pouches exactly where you put them. Vest is easy to put on and take off.
Vest was used for a four hour pheasant hunt, two hour walks with lunch break at half. Loaded with 50 rounds of 12 gauge shells, two 32 ounce water bottles, and 4-6 pheasants in the back pouch, vest was comfortable to walk around with with no impedance to mobility.
I look forward to seeing how the vests purchased will hold up with use. Anticipate light to moderate use but do not have any hesitations with "taking it easy" on this item.

Great lightweight vest for upland hunting. Plenty of storage. Great look as well. Had a lit of complements on this vest.

Bird pockets
Well, truth be told I bought this for my husband. I watched and listened as he thoroughly researched a vest perfect for bird hunting and one that has pockets. I generally purchase something from Orvis every Christmas or Birthday.... You do always have the best products out there. The waterproof hunting gloves I got him in September are a real hit this winter Duck hunting up here in the PNW. Keep it up, I have many years of gift giving ahead!

Really Comfortable
This vest is super comfortable and light! Easy to adjust to size. I like the side pockets and back pockets to store gear in. Was able to get a down coat in the back pocket. The only con is fitting birds in the back. Probably only room for 2 pheasants max. If you do have 2 in there, twice I had them fall out when jogging.

velcro?!
who puts velcro on a hunting vest?! it’s insanely noisy and unnecessary. I am going to remove the velcro and replace it with something else but considering the price of this vest, I am not happy about having to make the change. Otherwise the vest is very functional, lots of fit adjustments to manage layers, good roomy game bag and shell pockets.

Awesome vest!
As a guide I am always looking for the best vest! This vest is perfect for me guiding in the south east quail hunting. The water bottle holders are great for the dogs and yourself. Plenty of game room for quail. The vest is very comfortable to wear! Orvis did an amazing job with this vest!
