This orange Chernobyl Ant is a great indicator fly for riffles and pocket water.
100% customer satisfaction has been our commitment since 1856. It's who we are. If you aren't happy with a product or service, we want to know about it. And we'll make it right.
THAT'S THE ORVIS WAY.
Mike Bean's Orange Crush was designed to be a visible pattern that is durable, catches fish, and has a different profile from other patterns that fish see day to day from anglers. The fly was also designed to be a pattern that can be skated or twitched to get a trout's attention. The Orange Crush imitates a Golden Stone that hatches on the South Fork of the Snake River in July and September. The fly also works when salmon flies or terrestrials are present and has proven itself on the Henry's Fork, Teton River, spring creeks, and mountain lakes in Idaho. The key to this fly is its high profile, durability, and effectiveness, and works best with some type of action put on it. The best way to fish it is to twitch or skate the fly when it is on the water. The more movement used with the fly the better. In faster water, dead drift the fly.
