Region/Terrain Where You Fish

Boston, MA and the North Shore for Striped Bass, Bluefish, and Tuna.

Cape Cod & Long Island for False Albacore & Bonita.

Upstate NY for Salmon, Steelhead, & Trout.

Typical Weather by Season

Spring, Summer, & Fall in New England is a fairly comfortable place to fish. Warm clothes and Raingear is something I always bring along in case of inclimate weather. The Temps can fluctuate between mid 50's and upper 80's so it is always best to check the forecast a few days before the trip.

The fall and winter in upstate NY can be a frigid place to fish. It is best to bring base layers, fleece pants, proven rain gear and hand warmers the later in to the season we're fishing.

Date Range

April 1 - December 15

Folks are more than welcome to bring their favorite setup or multiple rods if they prefer.
