The Story

Chuck Kraft created the Clawdad in 1996 to mimic the darting action of the popular Pig-N-Jig bass lure. This crayfish fly pattern can be stripped like a fleeing crawdad or dead-drifted to imitate one moving along the bottom. With tungsten eyes for a fast sink rate and a lifelike profile, the Clawdad has proven itself time and again on trout, bass, and any fish that feeds on crawfish.
