Guests will visit the Golden Triangle for top pheasant hunting and world-class golf. You will choose Lazy J Sporting Club for its atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious home-cooked meals, bringing family and friends year after year.
Lazy J Grand Lodge offers communal areas to enjoy time with family and friends. Relax in various lounge areas and outdoor patios. Enjoy a drink and good conversation at our well-stocked bar. Our full-service kitchen and dining area will be perfect for large golf groups and hunting parties alike. You will enjoy local memorabilia and rustic décor at Lazy J.
All hunts at Lazy J include meals, lodging, ammunition, processing of birds, unlimited trap shooting, and hunting licenses. We also take care of getting your license for you. We freeze and process your birds and send them home in an insulated cooler. Most guests will check them in their luggage.
We have a phenomenal 10-station sporting clays on site for you to enjoy after a great hunt. We have ammunition for purchase in the pro shop. Our pro shop is stocked with plenty of Orvis gear if you want to update your wardrobe or forget to pack any of the basics. Our pro shop has a great selection of cigars to enjoy around the fire pit or at the poker table in the “Bull Room.”
At Lazy J Sporting Club, we are deeply connected to the diverse landscapes around Ideal South Dakota. Our club is surrounded by some of the most sought-after hunting grounds in the region, with the beautiful Missouri River only being 35 miles away. Hunters will enjoy abundant opportunities to chase pheasants in the rich, rolling plains and grasslands of Ideal.
