At Patagonia Trout Outfitters, every day is crafted for adventure, relaxation, and world-class fishing in some of the most breathtaking landscapes on earth. Whether you’re floating a wild river, casting to rising trout in a crystal-clear spring creek, or soaking in the lodge’s warm hospitality, this is so much more than a fishing trip—it’s the experience of a lifetime.
Welcome to Central Patagonia, where untamed rivers, gin-clear spring creeks, and glacial lakes weave through a landscape of snowcapped peaks, golden valleys, and ancient forests. This is where big trout thrive and adventure never stops.
Our waters stretch across the legendary Esquel, Trevelin, and Río Pico regions, home to some of the most diverse and productive trout fisheries on earth. You’ll drift down the mighty Futaleufú (Río Grande), the iconic Rivadavia, and the emerald-green Río Corcovado, casting to aggressive trout in perfect dry fly conditions.
Stalk rising fish in the intimate, technical spring creeks of Río Pico, or chase trophy browns and brook trout in the remote glacial lakes that remain untouched by time. Every piece of water tells a different story—one of wild trout, changing light, and heart-racing takes.
The landscape shifts from wide-open valleys to rugged canyon waters, offering a mix of gentle dry fly drifts, streamer-chugging runs, and technical nymphing pockets. Whether you’re wading a hidden spring creek, floating a turquoise river, or casting from shore on a secluded lake, Patagonia’s waters will challenge, reward, and stay with you forever.
A world-class fly fishing experience in untamed Patagonia starts at $5,500 per angler (double occupancy)—including lodging, expert guiding, gourmet meals, fine Argentine wines, and all the adventure you can handle.
We offer customized trips to match your fishing style, group size, and dream itinerary. Hosted trips, private groups, and exclusive waters are available.
Our prime season runs from November 1–May 1. Early season (November–December) offers aggressive fish and great dry fly action. Peak summer (January–February) brings ideal conditions for floating and wading, while fall (March–April) delivers trophy brown trout on streamers.
You’re welcome to bring your favorite setup, but we provide top-quality rods, reels, and flies suited for Patagonia’s conditions. Breathable waders and sturdy boots are recommended.
All-inclusive rates cover lodging, guided fishing, gourmet meals, fine wines, fishing licenses, and ground transportation. The only extras are flights and gratuities.
Absolutely! We have a dedicated non-angler program with horseback riding, kayaking, hiking, bird watching, e-bike tours, cultural excursions, and vineyard visits—ensuring an unforgettable adventure for everyone.
