Accommodations:
Pheasant Bonanza's Benjamin Schoonover Lodge and our staff blend elegant lodging and upscale dining with a laidback atmosphere and relationships that extend long after your stay. The lodge, completed in 2016, is fully furnished with 15 total rooms; 12 featuring two double queen beds and three featuring single king beds. Each room offers its own bathroom with shower, HDTV with DirecTV, Wi-Fi, white noise machine, house-keeping service and breathtaking views of the Loess Hills. Enjoy the free-standing fireplace which extends through all three levels of the lodge or enjoy the scenery on one of the patios. Kick back, watch the game, and relax in any of the three sitting areas. Or spend your evening having a cocktail, beer, or a glass of our very own Rooster's wine in the basement at Rooster's, Pheasant Bonanza's restaurant with full bar.
In addition to our 15-room lodge, Pheasant Bonanza has additional lodging just a quarter-mile down the road named Deuce Ranch. This facility is top notch; it includes four bedrooms featuring eight queen beds, two full baths, kitchen, living room, and dining area. Pheasant Bonanza's lodging is only part of an experience you won't forget.
Food & Drink:
Let's face it, when you choose a destination, the second most important aspect, behind the hunting of course, is the dining. Choose from our menu and let us know what you'd like to eat for each meal prior to your arrival, or do what most of our guests do and let our chef surprise you! Either way, we promise you won't be disappointed—just don't overindulge in the appetizers before dinner. After all, you did work up a big appetite by hiking up and down the pheasant fields all day! Most of our four-course dinners are served to table. Whether you enjoy hearty, down-home cooking, wild game, fine steak dinners, or all of the above, we're confident the food will be what you leave talking about the most.
