The Story

The limited edition Rosenbauer Signature Fly Box is handcrafted in Pennsylvania from burl maple in tribute to Tom Rosenbauer’s 50 years at Orvis. Each of these 300 clamshell boxes showcases its own unique grain and character and is laser engraved with Tom’s signature, as well as a personal message reflecting on the enduring spirit and future of fly fishing. The slotted foam interior keeps flies neatly in place, while the magnetic closure opens and closes smoothly with one hand. About the size of a smartphone, this box fits easily in a pocket, vest, or bag. Commemorate Tom, five decades of education and inspiration, and the beauty of fly fishing with a box worthy of your precious flies.

Note: To maintain the finish and longevity, apply a light coat of boiled linseed oil or Danish oil at the end of each season. Wipe away any excess and allow it to dry fully before use.
