Sample of Typical Itinerary:
Our hunt packages can be customized and set up to meet the needs of your trip. We offer everything from half day hunts to multiply day packages. Our hunts typically start 8:30 in the morning and 1:00pm in the afternoon. We can also help with hotel/bed & breakfast accommodations as well as meals upon request.
What is Provided to Customer:
In addition to our spectacular hunting grounds we are minutes away from some of the best fly fishing anywhere and we can assist in helping you find local fishing guides, walking & biking trails, site seeing and shopping. We are also located a short distance away from Penn State University.
What Should Customers Bring?
We recommend that everyone brings your favorite shotgun, good hunting boots, season appropriate hunting clothes (blaze orange), eye protection/sun glasses and a camera to capture the special memories of the day. Rental shotguns and apparel are available in our clubhouse upon request.
On-site Activities:
We offer wingshooting with or without guides & dogs for pheasant, partridge, quail and dove.
Date Range:
Our pheasant, partridge and quail season runs from mid October to the end of March and we offer dove hunts in September. We are open Monday - Saturday.
Species You Hunt by Season:
We provide wingshooting for pheasants, partridge & quail done with guides & well-trained dogs. Our birds are strong flying and love the habitat on our farm. We offer field hunts, Continental pheasant hunts throughout our season and dove hunts in September.
Region/Terrain:
Our farm terrain offers flat and gentle rolling fields. We are located in a beautiful valley between two mountains in Central Pennsylvania and rest at 1,000 ft. elevation.
Typical Weather by Season:
With our hunts taking place from fall through winter, our weather conditions can vary from 60 degrees and sunny to 20 degrees and snow. Let us know when you would like to hunt and we will let you know what to expect, so you can come prepared.
Where is your closest airport?
Our closest Airport is in State College, PA (SCE) which is 30 miles and the closest town in Tyrone, PA which is 10 minutes from us. Our farm is situated 2 hours from Pittsburgh, 3.5 hours from Washington D.C. and 4 hours from Philadelphia.
