Drift boat trips are guaranteed a minimum of 6 hours on the water. Early morning and late evening trips are best for fishing conditions. Food, beverage, and refreshment are available at the Wayside Country store in West Arlington, Vermont (a 3-minute drive from the Norman Rockwell house and covered bridge) offering a full deli.
Species You Fish for by Season
Fishing in southern Vermont and New York are primarily for brown and brook trout, catch and release only. Early winter trip to Upstate New York is for salmon, steelhead, and brown trout.
The closest airport is Albany, New York, approximately 75 minutes from Manchester, Vermont. Upstate New York’s closest is airport is Syracuse, New York, approx. 40 minutes to Pulaski. Fees do not include a valid fishing license, which is available through the website.
