Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great day on the river! Ray's partner Emily was simply amazing. She was patient with my husband and I, who are both beginners, and we had a fantastic Autumn day on the water. It could not have been a better day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ray was absolutely fantastic. My brother and I had fly fished a few times before and wanted to sharpen up / get some local tips ahead of a month long stay in the area. Ray was absolutely fantastic on our day-long wading trip and ensured the perfect combo of technical work + fun. He also kindly pointed out several off the beaten path spots to explore over our trip. Ray's expert guiding combined with previous engineering work at Orvis + time spent teaching in a classroom made for an awesome informative and fun day. Couldn't recommend more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Granddaughter had a great time My seven year old granddaughter and I went fishing with John Rogers, and she caught this 4 1/2 lb 19 inch Rainbow Trout. John was really great with her. He explained everything, told her how to jig the line, reel a bit, how to bring it in, let her hold the net in the water to resuscitate the trout, and then showed her how to let it go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Day Fishing in Vermont I am here from California on work and was able to meet up with a friend for a day of fishing near Manchester. We fished with John from Ray's shop and we had a fantastic time. the fishing was slow but the conversation and time on the water was excellent. John managed to get both of us into a couple of really nice fish. John knew the water intimately and took his time with us getting us in position for the best opportunity. I highly recommend John.
