The Story

A dry fly pattern first tied by Lee Wulff and fished with great success for decades. This buggy dry fly imitates many different types of mayflies and terrestrials, too. A great dry fly for prospecting, it can be fished in slow or fast water. In red.

Sizes 10, 12, 14, 16, 18.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I purchased ~$1,000 in Orvis flies for a Homeless I have purchased Orvis tied-flies for decades; my father did likewise and taught me about the quality of tied flies. This specific fly is just the tip of the iceberg regarding my selections of purchase. I bought hundreds of flies . . . for a great charity!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE native brook trout fly If you seek small water, way off the beaten path and carry a 2 wt. in June, in New England, this is the only fly you'll need. Size 16 seems to be my favorite. Remember to crimp the barb.
