Step on it, close the door on it, run over it with the car—it doesn’t matter, we’ll fix it. If we can’t repair it, we’ll choose a newer model rod of at least equal value to replace it. Your investment is assured for a nominal shipping and handling charge.

The Story

With a variety of rod sizes to choose from, these rods are excellent for fishing larger rivers. Designed in Manchester, Vermont, our Clearwater two-handed rods provide high-end performance at excellent prices. Our lighter line of two-handed rods are perfect for swinging soft hackles on large trout rivers, while our heavier rods are ideal for steelhead and salmon. Constructed with a solid backbone, our lightweight two-handed rods make casting big flies in large rivers much easier. Start Spey casting with ease with our Clearwater rods, and find that trophy fish you've been looking for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does everything I want it to do! Used it mostly for fishing steelhead & browns. Streams I fish have a high wooded bank behind me & two handed spey casting makes shooting line out a good distance effortless

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rod Loving my first two handed rod. I have been using for flats fishing in sydney catching ocean salmon, Flathead, Taylor ect. Took some getting used to, but after half a dozen outings and two different lines I’m starting to get the hang of casting. One line more for shooting, OPST, one more for shooting, Outbound Short. Hopefully I find the perfect line for either scenario in one line soon. Hooked into a great salmon last week and almost wishing I went with a 6 wt, but if you’re catching larger fish on a consistent basis then it’s still great fun. I’ll be looking at a 5 or 6wt switch next rod or two :) Great build and quality as usual so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rod! Great rod relative to its cost. Very versatile. I fish it for everything from stream trout to steelhead. In reference to another review, I use a 510 grain Airflo skagit switch on this particular rod (118-4). I bought the Airflo before Orvis' skagit lines were available and so haven't tried one on this rod.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rod. Got out on the river and had a blast. She was a beast at 15' but casts beautifully; just keep that rod up kid...
