Texas: Sporting Clays Manager - Greystone Castle Sporting Club

Greystone Castle Sporting Club is looking for a full time Sporting Clays Manager. As part of the management team, the SCC Manager is responsible for all aspects of Greystone Castle’s Sporting Clays Program.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the operation of all shotgun shooting sports.
- Manage and maintain the sporting clays courses.
- Plan, coordinate and host corporate shoots, fun shoots, regional and national shoots.
- Market the sporting clays program to increase the number of group shoots and daily shooters.
- Coordinate labor and materiel requirements for SC tournaments.
- Coordinate professional shooting clays instruction between customers and Greystone Castle shooting clays professional shooter / instructor.
- Hire and supervise shooting sports staff.
- Manage and account for all sporting clays equipment, such as shotguns, carts, target trap machines and lawn care equipment.
- Manage and coordinate maintenance on sporting clay club house and equipment, such as carts and target trap machines, shotguns and lawn care equipment.
- Manage inventories and order supplies, as required, in support of shooting sports, such as clay targets and ammunition.
- Manage and order club house retail inventory.
- Submit budget lines for all sport shooting requirements.
- Maintain responsible spending within budget.
- Supervise Clays Course construction projects.
- Assist in other activities as assigned by the GM.
Qualifications:
- 5 years in the Sporting Clays Industry
- Management/Leadership Experience
- Marketing / Business Development Experience
- Self-Starter, who can work independently.

Alaska: Sous Chef - Alaska's Boardwalk Lodge

Aid and assist the head chef in day to day operations. interacting with guests on a day to day basis.
Responsibilities:
- General cooking of breakfast and prep and cooking of dinner meals
- General food Prep, meat and fish fabrication, desert baking, light baking (bread making) production of appetizer making
- Menu planning, food ordering and receiving of food ordered
- General cleaning
Qualifications:
Culinary school is preferred but not needed. 3+ years of experience in a steady volume restaurant. General knife skills, good communication skills, ability to interact with guests and other co-workers. Drug free is a must, Alcohol free is also. Ability to take directions and follow through with assigned tasked. Ability to predict future needs for the following weeks needs.

We are looking for a Fly Fishing Guide/ Retail Sales Associate. This is a Hybrid position. The job is full-time/ seasonal, starting May 1st and ending September 30th. We operate a full-service fly shop and guide service here in Northern Colorado, a fly fishing lodge, and a private fly fishing club. We are looking to add 1-2 team members for the coming season. The position would center around guiding daily fishing trips through our fly shop and lodge and working in our fly shop. We operate a 6-day workweek. Responsibilities:
Working in our fly shop providing up to date and accurate information to our customers. Gaining knowledge of the fishery and how we operate. Learning about the products we carry and selling them to our customers. Booking trips over the phone. Writing fishing reports.
Guiding fly fishing trips. Teaching Casting, fly tying, and general fly fishing tactics.
Mowing lawns, cleaning trucks and boats, painting cabins, etc.

The breakfast/dinner cook is responsible for supporting our Executive Chef and Sous-Chef in leading a team that delivers high-end, quality meals. MVR embraces the farm-to-table tradition, using fresh local ingredients wherever possible. Everything is made entirely from scratch. We accommodate up to 28 guests at a time, providing gourmet breakfast, appetizers, and a gourmet four-course dinner. In spring of 2021 we have completed a brand-new lodge with a 1,400 SF state-of-the-art commercial kitchen to take our culinary program to new heights!
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience at the Cook/Sous-Chef level with high-end lodges or restaurants. They should have a positive work attitude, be friendly and work well with others, be comfortable managing food quality and presentation, and have the ability to oversee labor and food costs. They will also help to oversee kitchen stewards.
Job Duties:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
The successful candidate will be comfortable managing the kitchen in the absence of the executive chef.

We have a high-end private home available for use by employees. Based on availability, rooms will be either single or double occupancy with a shared bath. The furnished home offers a full kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, small office area, living room, dining area, washer/dryer, and wireless internet. The lodge is located 2.5 miles from the employee house. Driving your personal vehicle to Ennis is recommended. This will allow you the freedom to explore the town and surrounding areas and maximize your experience in Southwest Montana.
A $250 deposit is required upfront and returned when employees depart at the end of the season, assuming room is in good condition upon departure. Lodging is charged at $125 per month, and this can be deducted from your paycheck or paid in advance. A nearby grocery store is available for purchasing food to prepare in the house's kitchen.

Madison Valley Ranch is a luxury, all-inclusive fly-fishing lodge located just minutes from downtown Ennis and an hour's drive from Bozeman.

OPERATIONS MANAGER - GREYSTONE CASTLE SPORTING CLUB - MINGUS, TEXAS

As part of the management team, the Operations Manager is responsible for all hunting, fishing and maintenance activities:
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate lodging with the Facilities Manager for all hunting and fishing activities.
- Supervise and coordinate Guide assignments for all hunts.
- Hire Guides to support hunting and fishing activities.
- Plan for and order animal inventory to support hunting and fishing activities.
- Manage whitetail inventory to produce trophy species.
- Manage all animal inventories.
- Submit budget lines for all hunting, fishing and maintenance line items.
- Maintain responsible spending within budget.
- Manage and plan for all ranch maintenance.
- Guide sporting clays, special events, tours, and other various duties related to the operation of a commercial hunting operation as directed by GM.
- Ensure owner visits are planned for and supported.
- Manage Texas Parks and Wildlife MLDP harvest reports and CWD requirements.
- Supervise care of upland birds.
- Manage activities of ranch property.
- Supervise various construction projects.
- Assist in other activities as assigned by the GM.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in the hunting/fishing industry
- Management/Leadership Experience
- Wildlife Management or Wildlife Biology degree preferred.
