Orvis is proud to introduce the Orvis Elos D2 Over-Under Shotgun by FABARM for 2018. The new Orvis Elos D2 is characterized by key upgrades from the previous Orvis Elos. FABARM engineers went to considerable lengths to improve the internals, lighten the barrels, and provide upgraded wood with a hand-rubbed oil finish. The steel, nickel finish receiver is designed to be more robust than that of its predecessor while not adding additional and unwanted weight. The forearm has been completely redesigned to feature a foolproof attachment mechanism. It is tastefully engraved and adorned with gold birds. Standard features include ejectors, manual safety, and a single selective inertia trigger that breaks cleanly at 3.75 lbs. 28" chrome-plated barrels with a ventilated top rib come standard with a brass front bead. FABARM's Hyperbolic screw-in chokes are revered for their superb patterning, and the Orvis Elos D2 comes with a complete set: C/IC/M/IM/F. The upgraded, oil-finished walnut stock features a recoil-absorbing rubber pad. The gun is a natural pointer, balances perfectly at the hinge, and swings cleanly and deliberately. It is perfectly suited for the field and clays range. The Orvis Elos D2 is a triumphant and crowning addition to the Orvis Shotgun lineup with a base price of $3199.
