Sporting Clays

at Orvis Pursell Farms

In the heart of the sporting South, the clays course at Orvis Pursell Farms offers 16 stations designed to simulate the presentations a southern gunner might encounter in the field. Nestled at the base of Chalybeate Mountain, the clays course at Pursell describes a loop through open fields and into a natural canopy of Southeastern hardwoods. With regular refreshes to the presentations, the course at Pursell sets out to make those classic quail, dove, and teal shots available all year round. In addition to the Sporting Clays Course, Orvis Pursell Farms also offers two covered Five Stands and a Wobble Trap. As is the signature at Orvis Shooting Grounds, a trapper will join each group on the course, ensuring shooters the best and most tailored experience possible.
