The difference between the Bedale and the Classic Bedale is the finish. The Barbour Classic Bedale, a member of our bestselling “Barbour Trio”, is made using the brand’s traditional 6 oz. Sylkoil waxed cotton. Sylkoil gives the Classic Bedale its matte appearance that’s soft and smooth. The Barbour Bedale is made with medium-weight “thornproof” waxed cotton, which is a bit shinier but also more weather resistant.
