The Story

Incredibly strong thread for all saltwater flies, bass bugs, big streamers, and steelhead flies. Saltwater/bass thread is nearly as strong as Kevlar®, yet unlike Kevlar it does not cut the material on which it is wound. Also takes bright-colored dyes well.

Made in USA.

100 yards per spool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Saltwater Thread I tie a lot of flies for saltwater back country fishing. Tarpon, snook, redfish, ect. This thread is perfect for these flies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic if you know how to use it This thread series is great for all big saltwater and bass patterns, but only if you know how to rotate the bobbin and keep it from “flossing out”. If you’re able to do some thread control measures, then it’s one of the best I’ve ever used. Stronger than most, great for building heads, corded up its great for deer hair bugs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Thread Useful for medium to heavy lures due to its strength. Additionally, I use it for tying buzzers due to its wide coverage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a good, strong uni-style thread this is a strong polyester thread that you can use to tie larger flies (e.g. bass and salt water) without creating a lot of bulk. I haven't tried it for spinning deer hair, but I will.
