Got me loads of TROUT!
Sweet bug for prospecting in riffles and braided water. Super deadly as a dry dropper combo.

Very diverse features
This is a good nymph for spring, summer, and fall down in the South. It has the characteristics of insects indigenous to the South. The reflective qualities are a big plus.

Great Nymph
I purchased this fly in a size 18 and used it as a dropper with my double nymph rig. Over the weekend nearly every fish I caught hooked into this fly. It's realistic and flashy and I will be sure to purchase more. Thanks for a great fly Orvis!

Top notch mayfly nymph.
As a guide this is my go to mayfly nymph. The glass bead adds an iridescence that the fish just love. Whether dead drifted or as it swings back to the surface, fish love this fly. Many times this is the only fly I can get fish to consistently eat. This football of a 'bow loved it!

Crushes Trophy 'Bows
I fish this BWO pattern on the Freemont Canyon section of the North Platte in Wyoming. It is a must have. It simply out-fishes any other pattern. The runs are short and deep and the glass bead picks up some light when you fish it deep and heavy. 20"+ fat bucks live in those holes and they don't refuse this fly. At the end of your drift progressively lift the leader and as this fly swings to the surface towards the tail of runs, these fish visibly lift and pursue this emerger.

They eat it.
The baetis version size 20 has proven to be one of the only beaded flies that the rainbows of the N. platte will eat consistently. When blue-wings are present this pattern usually outfishes any other baetis imitation. A very good pattern with an understated amount of flash and a well placed wing of our beloved cdc.
