Great quality
For me, the layout of this workstation was preferable to other available products. Very pleased. The magnetic strip was bent and won’t adhere, but that’s a very minor issue.

very nice portable work table
I started tying flies a month ago during COVID crisis. I bought this work station along with the Orvis premium fly tying kit. What I like most about this item is its portability, I can put in on desk, dining room table, etc. I also think that the light color of the work surface is a big plus---easy to see hooks, beads, and different color materials against the light color. While I generally prefer a nice grained wood, I'm sure I would not see materials as clearly against a wood grain. I also like the ability to mount a C clamp vise on this work table, and you can just leave it mounted and use the work station wherever in the house you want. Two small things made me rate this 4 instead of 5. First, the magnetic strip to attach hooks to the back area curls and does not adhere well, it would be better factory installed rather than a cheap self tape stick on. Second, I would recommend adding two rounded depressions on the elevated wood on the left, one for hooks, one for beads.

Perfect Fit
I bought this fly-tying work center because I did not have a lot of room on a desk I have. It fit perfect and gave me some room for other work.

Perfect Gift For My Husband
I bought this as a gift for my husband and as soon as he opened the box, he loved it. Unbeknownst to me he was going to make something similar. He was very impressed with the quality and how functional it was. This fly tying work center was exactly (plus some) what he wanted. Thanks Orivis, you hit it out of the park with this!
