Timberlake's Restaurant is located in the original Manor House Estate dating back to 1842. The restaurant features three dining rooms, an intimate wine room, and waterfront dining on the patio. The charming and warmly outfitted Headwaters Pub is just inside Timberlake's main entrance.
Timberlake's menu is inspired by world-renowned North Carolina artist and designer Bob Timberlake's culinary favorites. From savory shrimp and salads of mountain-grown spinach, to pan-seared duck and roasted Carolina quail, each dish will be one worth savoring. Mouth-watering elk loin, seafood, poultry, vegetarian options and house made desserts will also tempt palates of all tastes. Expansive wine and cocktail options complement our food menus to create a purposefully-crafted dining experience.
Timberlake's Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Live music, bonfires, lakeside bar and s'mores accompany most weekend evenings.

What is Provided:
Chetola guides provide all fly-fishing equipment, from rods and flies to waders and nets. All full-day adventures include lunch and refreshments. You don’t even need to bring a camera if you don’t want to; we will be happy to take photos for you and email them to you. Your guide will contact you prior to your trip to answer any questions you may have.
Dress for comfort and flexibility (jeans, t-shirts, flannel shirts, etc.) and, most importantly, in layers. We have a saying in the mountains: "If you don't like the weather, just wait 10 minutes." Please bring rain gear, sunscreen, sunglasses, any medications, and wear closed-toe shoes that have good traction, breathe easily and dry quickly after getting wet. Your guide will inform you of any particulars that may be needed pertaining to the season.
What to Bring:
Fishing licenses are required and may be purchased the day of your trip. Licenses can be purchased at Village Hardware in Blowing Rock, Walmart in Boone or at ncwildlife.org or at tn.gov/twra.
Can guests bring a dog?
Several of our lodge rooms are dog-friendly, though a pet deposit will apply.
How far are you from Charlotte, NC?
We are located 88 miles from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
Can I fish year-round?
Yes, don’t let cold air or precipitation deter you! In fact, fishing during late fall, winter and early spring is considered some of the best fishing of the season. With fewer insects alive and active during colder temperatures, the fish are happy to bite at all the flies you throw.
Are any of the fishing locations handicapped accessible?
We are proud to be working with organizations such as Healing Waters that encourage those with special needs to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of being outdoors, working with others and experiencing the rejuvenating activity of fly fishing. We do our best to meet guests' requirements based on specific needs or limitations. We are currently working on a new section of water that is being specifically engineered for guests confined to wheelchairs.
