All necessary equipment will be provided. Specific gear is available upon request. Bottled water is provided on all excursions. Lunch available for any trip upon request.

- Polarized sunglasses

- Seasonally, extra dry layers and extra pairs of gloves.
Gear Recommendations:
Bringing your own equipment is always advised. Building skills and practicing on the equipment you will be fishing after the trip will help create a level of comfort and a foundation to build upon. Specific gear is available upon request. Wader/boot rentals available.
Outfit Recommendations:
Steelhead: 9-10' single-handed rods with 6-8 wt, floating line; 10-13' two-handed rods, 6-8wt
Musky/pike: 9' single-handed rods with 8-12 wt floating line, intermediate line, and sink-tip line
Bass: 9' single-handed rods 6-8 wt with floating line, intermediate line, and sink-tip line
Carp: 9' single- handed rods 7-8wt with floating line
Waders are optional these trips
Steelhead: Equipment recommendations needed here. Waders are always necessary. Studded boots are highly recommended.

Constantly changing weather can reduce or prolong any of these seasons. Some of the best fishing each season happens in relation to harsh weather. Keep the faith, roll the dice!
Region/Terrain:
Northeast Ohio is flat plateau, slowly rolling east along Lake Erie's shore. Ohio offers a variety of different-sized rivers and streams. Relatively easy wading and accessible water makes fishing enjoyable locally. Inland lakes of various size are easily accessible by boat. Northeast Ohio's park district is outstanding! Unique features to Northeast Ohio are Lake Erie, trending wineries, hiking and biking trails, along with the food and entertainment scene of downtown Cleveland. There are a lifetime of fishing opportunities within 90 minutes of Cleveland!
Typical Weather:
Northeast Ohio has weather that is ever-changing. Areas we fish, especially the fisheries along Lake Erie, experience rapid changes in weather. This pattern is known as "lake effect". The ambiance of this weather adds to the experience!

Northeast Ohio boasts several fun local activities. Museums, stadiums, hiking/water trails, and Lake Erie cruises are just a few. With several lodging opportunities to choose from, ample ride sharing, and a killer food scene Cleveland will not disappoint!

Certain programs are accessible to guests of all mobility levels. If you are unstable wading or prefer to fish seated, let us get you in a boat and back on the water!
