Not as described!
Any fly with the name "Magnum" in it's name should be fairly big. Not so! While the description says this fly is 8 inches, it is really 5 inches, maybe 5 and a half inches if you're generous. Not at all what i paid for. Too bad...

Striper crack
This fly is perfect size to imitate stocked size trout for striped bass. I am sure I will be ordering another soon as this one's going to be taken away. Turning a 40lb freight train wading is nearly impossible.

Should be bigger
Since this is advertised as a bunker, not peanut bunker fly, it needs to be almost double the size. with that said, its a great large peanut bunker imitiation. Id LOVE to see orvis make this in a 12" size

Good pattern
Nicely tied, somewhat misleading is that the COWEN'S GHOST CUDA/SHARK FLY is just as large as this fly and even has a larger profile. This is a great fly, I was just hoping for something a bit more "magnum."

Another IGFA line class world record striper
Back in Nov 2007, Joan Sharrot of Staten Island, NY caught a 27+ lb striped bass on 20 lb test tippet that shattered the current women's record by over 6 lbs. Joan was using the olive bunker version of the magnum baitfish. This is the 2nd IGFA line class world record striped bass taken on this patten.
