Best brookie fly ever!
This is my go to fly for small brooks and mountain streams. Brook trout love the Yellow Humpy, and you’ll catch loads of fish on this pattern. It’s also a useful attractor pattern on larger waters and bigger fish. They Yellow Humpy floats like a champ, so can be used as an indicator fly on a dry-dropper rig. Orvis was super easy to deal with and these flies arrived in time for my next adventure!

Floats like a cork and easy to see
Great fly for the dry dropper combo in pocket water. Very effective and durable fly. Trout can't resist looking up.

Catches fish, Looks Odd
Always keep a few in your box. It is not a mayfly, not a hopper but I think it confuses the fish and they often take it. The Humpy is a good option when nothing is biting.

Productive Fly
These flies are very productive and tuff. I have had the opertunity to try them in various locations in our area, and they have worked really well on perch, bass, and trout. The larger sizes have drawn very aggressive strikes. They are very important fly for your box.

High Floating Dry
The Orvis Humpys (or is it Humpies?) truly are " high floating". I use they for my dry on my dry-dropper rigs more often than not. They float high and are easy to see even in relatively rough water.
