The Story

Glacier Anglers is West Glacier’s premiere fly fishing outfitter, offering guided experiences in and around Montana’s Glacier National Park as well as an Orvis-endorsed fly shop.

Montana’s Middle Fork and North Fork of the Flathead River hold some of the healthiest populations of native westslope cutthroat trout in the United States. Westslope cutthroat trout are an aggressive species that love to eat dry flies throughout the summer and fall.

For the ultimate backcountry fly fishing experience, Glacier Anglers provide a once-in-a-lifetime multi-day trip in the Great Bear Wilderness. As one of the only outfitters in Montana permitted to fish in this remote area, Glacier Anglers offers an unforgettable guided experience on the Flathead River’s acclaimed Upper Middle Fork.

Whether you’re looking for a fully guided trip or want to rent equipment and do it yourself, the team at Glacier Anglers will be happy to set you up and point you towards where the fish are.

The Glacier Anglers fly shop is conveniently located in West Glacier, minutes from Glacier National Park and the Middle Fork and North Fork of the Flathead River. The shop is fully stocked with equipment and apparel from quality brands along with flies from Orvis, Montana Fly Company, Simms and more. Glacier Anglers is the only shop that provides Montana state fishing licenses in West Glacier.
