The Story

First introduced to the fly-tying world in 1988, the Renzetti Traveler 2000 vise is back and better than ever. Featuring positive rotary action, easy-to-use screw adjustments, and built for hooks sizes 28 to 4/0, it's Renzetti's original true rotary fly tying vise. Available in right- or left-hand action and pedestal base models.

Made in USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality vise Only just started making my own flies but I wanted to start with a quality vise. I wasn’t disappointed with the traveller, it’s a well made solid product which I expect will outlast me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Renzetti traveller vise Absolutely brilliant little vise that is lightweight but strong and sturdy. Would be difficult to find a better vise in this price range I think.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good vice. Works well with small hooks Nice vice. Really like the rotary function. Still getting used to it but pleasure to tie fly's with and think the rotary function will improve tying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed I was looking for a quality rotary vice at an affordable price that was made in the USA. I could not be more happy with this! This vice is small and sturdy. Well constructed and will last me a lifetime! It’s so nice, it has inspired my 6 and 4 yo children to want to tie flies so they “can spin the hook.” Thank you!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A joy to use! Love it. Had it two years and the rotary feature has made fly tying a joy. Good value. Highly recommend a pedestal base over a clamp, can use it anywhere. Would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value Bought this as an upgrade for a budget vise that I bought when first starting out in fly tying (part of the Orvis deluxe tying kit). The old one worked fine - but really wanted a rotary function and cam-action jaws. I have used the new vise to tie a range of flies since receiving it and am very impressed. It works well and has great features, especially at this price point. Very solidly built. The only (very minor) quibble is that the brass end cap knob does have a tendency to loosen on it's own over time. This is easily fixed with either a bit of teflon thread tape or a dab of threadlocker. Again, this in no way represents a serious issue. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase.
