Hunting gear should include light chaps or briar pants, upland leather boots, coat or jacket. Wet weather usually moves through quickly, but some water proof outerwear is a good idea. Bring your comfortable casual wear for use around the lodge.
Guests are only asked to bring clothes, toiletries, and personal effects. Bed linens, towels, and all food and beverages are provided.
Customers can bring their own guns or we have breech-loading shotguns available for rent. 20 ga. and 28 ga are recommended but not mandatory (we prefer no auto loading or pump guns in the field. Light to heavy footwear, light rain coat, hunting or heavy twill pants, vest (can be provided) cap, glasses, gloves if desired.
We require that hunters wear eye protection and ear protection when in the field and shooting.
We have an ample supply of shells for almost all gauge shotguns.

Gear Recommendations:
Appropriate hunting attire includes boots, chaps or briar pants, rain gear, a blaze orange shooting vest and a blaze orange hat (hat provided at check-in). Side-by-side or over/under shotguns are preferred.Autos and pumps are not preferred.
Over/under shotguns are available for rent, but guests are more than welcome to bring their own. We suggest using 7.5 or 8 shot ammunition, which can be brought or purchased onsite.
