Learn to fly fish at our Alabama fly fishing school.
100% customer satisfaction has been our commitment since 1856. It's who we are. If you aren't happy with a product or service, we want to know about it. And we'll make it right.
THAT'S THE ORVIS WAY.
The Alabama Orvis Fly Fishing School is located at the new Orvis Shooting Grounds at Pursell Farms in Sylacauga, Alabama, situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain Range. Pursell Farms is centrally located between many of the major Alabama cites and two hours from Atlanta, Georgia. This school will primarily focus on warmwater species such as bass and sunfish, but the casting you learn in the school can be utilized in any other fly-fishing scenario. You will learn casting techniques, terminal tackle, choosing the right flies, fish fighting, as well as how to properly handle and release fish.
Make sure to bring the family along when you visit. In addition to the beautiful lakes and ponds on the property, you and your family can take advantage of the new sporting clays course or play golf at Alabama's #1 ranked public-access golf course. The grounds have something for everyone.
You'll experience it all at the Alabama Fly Fishing School at Pursell Farms:
