Gear Recommendations:
Trout fishing: Clients bringing their own fly rods should bring 5-wt. or 6-wt. 9' or 10' length rods.
Bass/Pike/Carp fishing: Clients bringing their own fly rods should bring 8-wt. or 8- to 10-wt. 9' length rods.
Lines: Floating and sinking lines Waders are not necessary, but rain gear is recommended.
What to Bring (Additional):
Rain gear, sun glasses, hat, sun block.

The Housatonic River is a large limestone river that offers easy access fishing. Long deep pools and wide shallow riffles that hold a variety of fish.
