The Story

A classic bonefish fly with an epoxy-based head, rubber legs, and deer-hair wing, three seductive, proven fish-catching qualities. The Bonefish Bitters have been extremely popular and effective patterns for those elusive game fish throughout the years in South American destinations such as Mexico and Belize.

Sizes: 6, 8.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bonefish Fly Well ORVIS has done it again, with this outstanding fly pattern. Well tied, quality material, stainless hook, perfect proporstioned body and clor pattern. The quality is of high standard and is consistant with other ORVIS fly patterns I have purchased over the past 20 years or so. There is no compermise on guality and the price is consistant. Sure you can buy chep, BUT that's what you get. I'm not interested in travelling 1000's of miles and spending $1,000's to hunt a Bonefish for hours, throw the perfect cast, and have the fish snub its nose at the fly because it was of poor quality, or doesn't set right in the water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Freshwater??? Someone forgot to tell PA smallmouth that this is a SALTWATER fly . . . to their detriment.
