Good value
Normally prefer to handle feathers before buying them. But trusted Orvis to supply a quality product and was not disappointed. Good quantity and quality for the price.

Puffed up for Spring
Puffs are fairly consistent color and are varied in size, and there are plenty of them. I'm really looking forward to trying some of my new ties (which incorporate the puffs) this Spring.

Quick way to pop a wing on a midge
Great little pack of CDC puff, you just tie a couple of these in and you have a great wing for small may flies and midges, emergers and cripples. Cost effect and the little zip lock bag makes them easy to manage and access.

Good Stuff
I really like to use the cd puffs for the smaller emergers, especially in white and dun-colored. Although cdc is really a "1" trout material in my opinion, it does have a purpose for movement in the water and of course you can do a few false casts to dry it off or use frogs fanny to dry it. I prefer snowshoe rabbit feet fur hands down but the cdc does "lifen" up a fly. Either way, these are just the right size for what I use on my emergers and dries. Give it a try and make sure to post up the cdc so it works as a parachute as well and it will be easier to see in the water!!
