The Story

At Falcon's Ledge guests will sight-cast to trophy browns and rainbows on clear, trophy tailwaters and fish high-mountain freestone streams for native cutthroats, rainbows, and brookies. Six rivers flow out of the beautiful Uintah Mountains above the lodge, and it is just a short drive to fish one of these world-class rivers in beautiful mountain locales where you are often the only fisherman around. Many guests also enjoy casting to hard-fighting fish on any of the eight stillwaters surrounding the lodge, and floating a day on the world-famous Green River located within driving distance of the lodge. It is not rare to fish five or six different rivers and streams all on the same trip. Our professional, friendly, and award-winning fly-fishing guides are passionate about making sure you have a fly-fishing adventure you will always remember. Many of them have been guiding for over 15 years and are teachers or professors that love to teach. The world-class fishing is only part of your adventure; you will stay in one of eight private guest rooms in the modern lodge and soak in our large outdoor spa in the evening. Share the comfortable elegance of the lodge and our country gourmet dining with a non-fishing spouse at no additional cost. If you haven't stayed with us yet, come find out what fly fishing in Utah is all about.

The lodge at Falcon's Ledge is a unique structure, handsomely set in a private 600-acre canyon, providing a bird's-eye view of the surrounding canyon, stillwaters and wildlife. The eight private rooms with full bathrooms give you privacy and luxury.

From the moment you pass through the front gate, you will know you have come to someplace very special. While you will be pampered by our staff, you still have the freedom of helping yourself to a soft drink or snack in the kitchen. We want you to relax and make yourself at home. With plenty of luxurious room to relax, you can read a book, play a game of chess, shoot pool in the game room, watch the deer, or soak in the hot tub.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Experience for Fifth Time This was my fifth trip to Falcon's Ledge and once again I had a great experience. I caught many fish and had a guide who really know his trade and was great to speak with. He was patient with me as was the previous guide. The accommodations were nice and the food delicious. I would like to see some fruit added to breakfast or lunch. I hope to come back again next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A home away from hom We stayed for 6 nights and had a great time. The ponds are full of a variety of beautiful fish while the lodge is fantastic, charming and fully equipped. While we were there a number of folks came and went. Everyone who either dined in or came for the fishing hung out after dinner to talk about the ways of the world..The staff and our guide from the lodge was great.. What a wonderful time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Welcoming! The lodge and surrounding area is beautiful. Ken and Darlene could not have been any more accommodating. The pheasant hunting a Pleasant Valley was good and the fishing was good at 6 Lakes. My guide was very knowledgeable and patient. I was able to work with the new Helios D 6/9.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievably Great Experience I am sadly ending what has been a fantastic 4-day experience at Falcon's Ledge in Utah. First, I have had four days of great fishing in some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. More than a hundred fish landed this trip - including a personal-best 21" brown trout. The guides - both John and Gene - were great to work with and they provided me great coaching to help me catch a lot of fish while sharpening my skills. The team here at the lodge are warm and welcoming, and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The food is spectacular, with dinners consisting of Prime rib, stuffed pork chops, steak and other great offerings, Breakfasts are also delicious and very hearty. Ken does a superb job as chef - you need to have his biscuits and gravy!! My days were full with fishing options (one included a day trip to the Green River), and at the end of each day we were able to fish the on-property ponds, which are loaded with trout. One afternoon, my fishing buddy caught both a 24" and 21" rainbow in the pond that is about 20 yards from the lodge's front door. Visit this beautiful facility in this fantastic location - you will love it!!!
