Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic experience! Went to the 2-day school, led by Mike and Brendan (Brendon? didn't catch the spelling). They were professional, approachable, knowledgeable, and flexible. Not only did they have a ton of experience to share, they adapted the class to the conditions, and we ended up inside during some heavy rain, and went out to the creek during the sunshine. Could not have asked for a better 2 days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Experience! I’ve had the opportunity to take two trips with through Nemacolin with Mike as my guide. One was on the Casselman River and one on the Nemacolin property. Both were incredible! Mike is a super guy and an excellent guide! His knowledge of the waters we fished and ability to instruct was outstanding. I would absolutely recommend Mike and the Nemacolin experience to beginner and experienced fly fisherman alike!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Fly Fishing 101 Experience! We took Fly Fishing 101 with Joe. Initially, he did an excellent job explaining a lot of background history and knowledge that we needed before heading outside for the hands-on experience. Once we were outside, he taught us various techniques, tips, and tricks to help us learn the practical basics. Joe is a patient teacher and extremely knowledgeable and proficient. This course is highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn to fly fish and/or try something new and different. It could very well turn into your newfound hobby as it probably will for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We all caught fish today You have to love it when everyone in your group catches fish! All 3 of us caught several fish today at Nemacolin. This was the highlight of our trip to the resort. Looking forward to coming back again and having Joe improve our casting skills and techniques!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a fun morning fly fishing at Nemacolin I was very excited to learn how to fly fish! Our instructor was so informative and fun to be around. I think he may have been more excited when we caught a fish than we were. We caught 7 fish in a very short period of time. Our instructor Joe, taught us everything from setting up our rods to knowing when a fish had air in his lungs and how to help save it. I have found a new hobby thanks to my instructor. I will recommend this to all of our friends who come to this resort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Introduction to Fly Fishing My husband, 15 year old son and I took an intro to fly fishing class 2 hour guided class. I can't begin to tell you how great our guide, Joe Bragg was. He explained everything from putting the rod and reel together to casting, to types of flies to use based on the time of year and where you are fishing. The time absolutely flew by. This was by far our best experience at Nemacolin and we will be sure to come back to learn more with Joe and the other instructors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Experience! I took the one day class and it was excellent. Mike and Tony's passion is contagious. They were both patient and really helped me get the fundamentals down. We only scratched the surface of their knowledge and experience in the one-day class. Well worth it, but I'd take the 2 day in the future to get more details on the etymology.
