Lodging, Meals, and Accommodations
Devil's Thumb Ranch is a place where you're more likely to be outside than inside. We make the time spent indoors count by providing the most lavish of modern Colorado comforts in our cozy lodges and cabins. Our Main Lodge and High Lonesome Lodge come well-appointed with your choice of one king bed, two queens, or a suite. If you're looking for a bit more of a “tucked-away” experience, our private cabins in the woods, available with one, two, or four bedrooms, might be the perfect fit. Or upgrade your stay with even more privacy and 360-degree views from our three-story, eight-bedroom Grand Guest House, or our four-bedroom Peak-to-Peak Ranch. Each room features unique, personal touches of authentic yet elegantly refined ranch décor. Enjoy cozy features like heated floors, toasty fireplaces, fluffy robes, plush bedding, and tranquil bathrooms with large river stone showers and soaking tubs. If the views out your window and the adventures that await weren't so enticing, you might never want to leave your room at the Ranch.
With countless ways to work up an appetite, it only fits that Devil's Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa offers just as many delectable opportunities to satisfy it. Our acclaimed culinary team has taken pasture-to-plate dining to a whole new level. Enjoy mouthwatering Wagyu beef sourced from our own sustainable and responsibly raised, grass-fed Ranch herd, organic honey produced in our hives, and fresh produce straight from our own Kendra's Garden used daily at our two onsite Wine Spectator award-winning restaurants. Hand-crafted cocktails and a casual all-day menu can be found in Heck's Tavern, a favorite gathering place with unparalleled patio views of the Continental Divide. For upscale dining, Ranch House Restaurant, located in the original 1930's Ranch homestead, features creative, sophisticated western mountain cuisine. Hallowed Grounds coffee shop offers morning or afternoon caffeine pick-me-ups, as well as grab-and-go snacks, sandwiches, and homemade artisan pastries. Reservations are required for sit down dining in all restaurants.

Devil's Thumb Ranch is in the heart of the stunning Fraser Valley just beneath the Continental Divide at an elevation of 8,500 feet. Miles of Ranch Creek and Fraser River flow through the property's pristine landscape. Depending on snowfall, river levels start to drop off around the first of July and continue to decrease throughout the summer. The Ranch also features two private, stocked ponds on the property.
Weather patterns are typical of an alpine valley and include four distinct seasons, over 300 days of sunshine a year, and 300+ inches of average annual snowfall in the winter. During the summer months of June, July, and August, daily temperatures range between the 70s and 80s and include occasional afternoon showers. Evenings and mornings in the summer cool down with temperatures in the 40's.
