The Everglades National Park is 1.5 million acres of pure, breathtaking beauty. The Park originates about mid-state and flows south as a “River of Grass” slowly morphing into the backcountry and then into the Gulf of Mexico with the aid of numerous river systems. With tons of migratory birds and other wildlife calling The Park home, you’ll never know what you will see around any turn, in any of the numerous bays, or on any of the expansive tidal flats. This ecosystem never ceases to amaze me.
