The Kenai Peninsula is home to the most diverse fishing in all of Alaska: halibut, rockfish; four species of salmon (kings, sockeye, silvers, pinks; steelhead and trophy rainbow trout; Dolly Varden and the predatory pike. Tower Rock Lodge is ideally located on the banks of the lower Kenai River giving you access to ocean-bright salmon and magnum sized rainbow trout. We offer fly-outs to multiple destinations, ocean excursions and tons of other options such as fishing from drift boats on the Kasilof River to walk-in adventures on our small coastal streams. Variety and choices is what we are all about!

You will be custom fitted in our Orvis chest waders/boots and rain gear; matched personally your choice of single handed or Spey fly-rods; spin and/or bait-casters; centerpinning...try'em all if you wish! You will do it all...from novice to the well-seasoned pro, we got you covered from head to toe! You don't need to pack a thing, we even provide free airport pick-up, a free loaner vehicle for the week and that includes gas! Just call Griff (800) 284-3474 and lets start rocking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Over fished If you’re looking for an amazing experience, this is it. The lodge is amazing and the food is delicious. The guides are great and very entertaining. It does not deserve 5 stars because it’s not as remote as advertised and you will be fishing on top of other people not from tower rock. Overall 3.5 - 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trip of a lifetime We started planning our trip to fulfill my fathers dream of fishing Alaska-and it turned into so much more thanks to Tower Rock Lodge. We chose the Ultimate Orvis package and it was the best decision ever. It is difficult to put into words how great the amenities are but most of all the staff were like family by the end of our stay. The guides are world class and can’t be beat anywhere else!!!!! Chef Adam and the others assistants made the most amazing food including decadent desserts and the best wine assortment. You ask what about the fishing.... it’s the best ever with scenery thrown in. We loved floating the middle Kenai for monster rainbows. The king fishing was great my husband caught his biggest fish ever. If you want to have your dreams come true stay here and fish with Joe, JP, and Brandt. A special thanks to Mike for looking out for my dad.We cannot wait to return!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing time!! Every expectation exceeded! I just wanted to say thank you to the staff at Tower Rock Lodge! My husband and I visited in August 2017 and we had such an "Amazing time"! From Griff answering all my numerous pre-vacation questions to Thom answering all my, how did you make these potatoes? Everyone was top-notch! Not to mention the fishing... ah the fishing!! The guides were wonderful. They worked incredibly hard to make sure that the fishing and the trips were productive and outrageously fun! you can tell that every one of the guides enjoys what they are doing and knows how to fish!! Not once did I feel like a "yokel" who didn't know how to cast... even when the type of fishing was completely new to me! They were patient and did everything with a sense of humor. Knowing that this trip was a special occasion for my husband and I, the entire staff helped make my birthday (29 again) a memorable occasion! I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful birthday. Isaac and Mikey ROCK! I know I am gushing about everything but honestly I don't have one negative thing to say about the trip except it wasn't long enough! Truly an amazing experience and with the staff and the other guest we feel we have made lifetime friends!! Thank you so much everyone!!! I am not usually a "gusher" and I have pretty high standards, the Tower Rock Lodge exceeded every expectation that I had!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tower Rock - the best of the best One of the highlights of our amazing recent trip to Alaska, was a couple of nights at the Tower Rock Lodge in Soldotna, and a day long charter, fishing for Kings on the Kennai River. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel right at home, and we were not disappointed with any part of the experience - from telling fish stories around the campfire with owner Mike, while two young moose looked on, to the amazing food prepared by Chef CK, to the expert drift boat fishing with guides JP and Isaac, to the first class accommodations. Our only regret was that we didn't have more time in our schedule to spend at Tower Rock. I would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone looking to book the fishing trip of a lifetime. We will be going back, it's just a question of when.... Thanks to Orvis for getting the word out on great operations like this. It made our choice much easier when planning the trip!
